Our daughter Zosia entered the world far too early — as one of twins, born at just 26 weeks of gestation.
From her very first breath, life was a challenge. She arrived weighing less than a kilogram, fighting for every heartbeat. The medical team surrounded her tiny frame with tubes and machines, doing everything possible to keep her alive.
Zosia was diagnosed with severe asphyxia, respiratory distress syndrome, and meningitis — a series of conditions no parent wishes to hear. Her life was precarious, and each day felt like a balancing act between hope and despair. Yet, even as her fragile body struggled against illness, Zosia displayed a remarkable strength that amazed everyone around her. She had a will to live.
A Life Filled with Challenges

Due to her premature birth, Zosia spent months in hospitals. Each visit brought new diagnoses, fears, and treatments.
She was later found to have Barrett’s esophagus, a hiatal hernia, a cardia leak, gallstones, and chronic anemia. Since birth, she has also been underweight and lives with a visual impairment that complicates her daily life.
Every hospital corridor has become familiar to us — the scent of disinfectant, the hum of medical devices, the compassionate eyes of doctors who have become almost like family. Yet, no matter how many times we’ve stood by her bedside, watching her connected to machines, the fear never diminishes. It’s a fear that becomes part of your very being when you’re a parent of a child like Zosia.
After Surgery – A New Battle
Recently, our courageous little girl underwent stomach surgery. The operation was essential, but it left her weak and in need of constant specialized care.
Due to the long-term treatments and medications, Zosia developed severe tooth decay, which has now become another painful struggle for her small body.
Every day, she requires time, patience, and support to adjust to her environment. Simple activities that most children do instinctively — playing, eating, or focusing — demand extra effort and attention from her. The difficult start she had in life continues to impact every aspect of her daily functioning, and her journey toward independence is long and uncertain.
Yet through it all, Zosia smiles. Her laughter, though soft, is the most beautiful sound in our lives. It reminds us why we persevere, why we fight every day alongside her.

The Weight of Hope and the Cost of Care
As parents, we have dedicated everything to providing Zosia with the best care possible. However, the reality is harsh — medical bills, rehabilitation expenses, and dental treatments continue to accumulate.
Each visit to a specialist, each therapy session, and each new medication brings additional costs that we can no longer manage alone.
The financial strain is overwhelming, yet giving up is not an option. Our daughter has fought for her life since the moment she was born — now it’s our turn to fight for her future.
We dream of the day when Zosia can play freely, smile without pain, and enjoy the world around her like other children do. But to reach that point, she requires ongoing treatment, therapies, and care that are simply beyond our financial capabilities.
A Heartfelt Plea

Today, we are reaching out — with all our hearts — for your assistance.
Please, help us give Zosia the opportunity she deserves. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to ensuring that her life is not defined by suffering, but by love, hope, and progress.
Your generosity can alleviate her pain, support her recovery, and provide her with the tools she needs to grow and thrive.
Together, we can ensure that this little girl — who has already shown she is stronger than fate — can look forward to a brighter tomorrow.
From the depths of our hearts, thank you for standing with us in this battle.
Zosia’s journey is far from over, but with your support, she can continue to write her story — one of courage, resilience, and love.
Help us give Zosia the future she’s been fighting for since the day she was born.
