I am the mother of little Oliwierek — my 21-month-old son. Not long ago, he was a healthy, joyful boy. He laughed, played, learned to talk, and showered us — his parents — with warm hugs. Every day was filled with love, laughter, and the sound of his tiny footsteps.
But in a single, terrible moment, everything fell apart. Our world turned into a nightmare that no parent should ever have to endure.
The Night Everything Changed
It happened on the night of June 26th — a night that began like any other. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Oliwier lost consciousness. His small body started to shake uncontrollably, he vomited, and his arms went stiff.
We were terrified. Our hearts froze with fear as we called an ambulance. Within minutes, he was rushed to the intensive care unit, where doctors began a desperate battle to save his tiny life.
The tests broke us: a massive brain hematoma, severe swelling, and a life-threatening condition.
Emergency surgery was the only option — neurosurgeons had to open his head and remove the hematoma to relieve the pressure building inside his brain.
Those were the longest, most agonizing hours of our lives. We could do nothing but hold each other and pray that our baby would survive.

The Fight for Life
After surgery, Oliwier lay in a coma, connected to a ventilator, surrounded by countless tubes, wires, and blinking monitors.
Every beep of the heart monitor echoed like a scream in our chests. I whispered to him again and again, “Please, my baby, stay with us…”
And then — a miracle. Oliwier survived. He woke up.
But our relief was short-lived. We soon learned that the battle was far from over. A much longer, harder fight awaited us — the fight for his recovery.
Step by Step, a Fragile Hope
The surgery saved his life, but it left deep scars.
Oliwier’s nervous system was severely damaged. He cannot walk, cannot speak, his muscles are rigid, and one side of his face is paralyzed.
To recover, he needs intensive, long-term rehabilitation — physiotherapy, speech therapy, neurological care, and constant treatment from a team of specialists: neurologists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and cardiologists.
Each day brings new challenges.
We watch him fight to lift his head, move his fingers, or smile faintly.
He is so small, yet he battles like a warrior. His determination gives us strength, even on the darkest days.

When Love Isn’t Enough
As parents, we will do anything to help him. But the truth is — love alone can’t pay the bills.
Every therapy session, every MRI scan, every dose of medication, every ride to the hospital costs money — far more than we can afford.
There are so many things Oliwier needs:
- Neurological rehabilitation stays,
- Medications and specialized equipment,
- Daily therapy sessions,
- Ongoing diagnostic tests,
and above all, time — precious time that we are desperately trying to buy.
We are fighting as hard as we can, but we cannot do it alone.
A Mother’s Plea

So today, with all my heart, I am asking for your help.
Please — help my son get his childhood back. Help him take his first steps again, speak his first words again, and smile without pain.
Every donation, every share, every act of kindness brings us closer to giving him a chance at a normal life.
Even the smallest contribution can mean the world — it can mean hope.
We are facing a long road ahead, but we believe that miracles happen when people open their hearts.
From the depths of my soul, I want to say thank you to everyone who has helped, who is helping, and who will help us.
The fight for little Oliwierek’s life and health is far from over — but we will never stop fighting.
Because he deserves to live.
He deserves to laugh, to play, to dream.
He deserves a future.
Please, help us give him one.
