The medical team worked tirelessly to stabilize her delicate condition, with each moment feeling like a fight for her life.
At just one month old, Gabrysia underwent her first heart surgery. The operation was successful, but it was not the end of her struggles. The road ahead would be long and fraught with challenges. Gabrysia still faces two more surgeries in the future, procedures that will demand immense strength and resilience. As her parents, we watch each day with hope, but also with deep concern for her future.
While Gabrysia’s condition is currently stable, she is not out of danger yet. She still requires ongoing medical attention, and we continue to pray for the day we can bring her home to be with her three older siblings, who are eagerly awaiting the chance to meet their little sister. However, Gabrysia has a long journey ahead before that dream can be realized. She needs to gain weight before she can be discharged from the hospital, and we are doing everything possible to support her during this critical phase of her development.
We are fully dedicated to ensuring that Gabrysia has the best opportunity for a healthy future, but the path ahead is challenging. She requires intensive, ongoing treatment and rehabilitation. Each step forward brings us closer to seeing her thrive, but it comes with a significant emotional and financial cost.
