Zosia’s journey commenced with a heartbreaking diagnosis: a critical heart defect that necessitated immediate action. For a short time, we felt a sense of relief, believing we had overcome the worst. However, life has a way of testing us, and just two years later, our deepest fears returned as Zosia’s condition began to decline once more.
In addition to her heart condition, Zosia has been diagnosed with several other serious medical issues that complicate her life further. She has Fallot Syndrome, low muscle tone, motor aphasia, and suffers from recurrent respiratory infections. Each of these conditions requires meticulous management and constant vigilance. Additionally, Zosia’s left leg is 3 cm shorter than her right, adding another layer of complexity to her daily life that necessitates special care.
